Format: 2 x 1.5 hour sessions, a week apart.

Have you ever had a great story or opportunity that just gets overlooked? In this training we’ll study what makes writing cut through and develop some written pieces about your research that will really connect with journalists, potential partners or stakeholders. (They’ll be useful for verbal pitches too.)

You’ll learn what journalists and potential partners are looking for, and how to create both snappy short pitches and longer media releases that get their attention.

The sessions include lots of interaction, small group work and feedback. By the end of the workshop you’ll have written some pieces and will receive detailed, personalized feedback.

Includes pre-work/homework to get the brain working before the session.
